for
Charity... Thank-You!
The
Remediation Technologies Symposium (RemTech)
was held October 19-21, 2011 at the Fairmont Banff
Springs in Banff. ESAA would like to thank all of
the delegates who attended the event, all of the presenters
who provided the technical content, and the exhibitors.
A special thanks to all of the sponsors and supporters,
with out your support an event of this size and calibre
would not have been possible.
The
big winners of the 2011 event were the Environmental
Artworks Foundation of Alberta (EAFA), the Ilsa
Mae Research Fund at Muscular Dystrophy Canada (MDC)
and The Calgary Zoo Conservation Fund. $78,400
was raised for these charities. The 2011 total
was just $125 shy of the record set in 2008. In the
past six years the industry through RemTech has
donated over $350,000
to charity.
